About Us
Hopewell Blooms began as a dream. The kind inspired by Beatrix Potter, rolling meadows, and the vision of a garden brimming with blooms, chickens, sheep, and a few cheeky runner ducks.
In the beginning, it was a simple and practical idea: a way to help fund our children’s extracurricular activities so they could chase their own passions. But what started as a small seed has blossomed into something much more — a flower farm that brings joy not only to our family, but to everyone who receives our blooms.
Of course, life on a flower farm isn’t always as whimsical as it looks online. It’s muddy boots and rainy mornings, weeding that never ends, shifting tonnes of soil and mulch by hand, and perhaps a little too much time spent worrying about the weather forecast. My husband, bless him, somehow ended up with a job he never applied for, but he is my number one "employee" and biggest cheerleader.
And yet, even with all the mud, mess, and muscle, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Spending afternoons and weekends surrounded by dahlias and other home-grown flowers fills me with gratitude. Hopewell Blooms is more than a farm. It’s a place where beauty grows, joy is shared, and God’s creation is celebrated in every petal.
When we bought our property in 2020, our hope was that it would be a place of blessing for others. Hopewell Blooms has made that possible.
From our family to yours, thank you for letting our blooms be part of your story.
